Seeff Noordhoek is located in the Sun Valley Mall and covers the areas of Fish Hoek, Kommetjie and Scarborough, Noordhoek and Noordhoek Surrounds.
Noordhoek is a laid-back coastal suburb overlooking long, sandy Noordhoek Beach, popular with walkers and horseback riders and is regarded as one of the most scenic in the Cape. The area is still
home to farms. Long Beach stretches for over 8 km of wide sandy, unspoiled beach that borders on wetlands and eventually links up with Kommetjie. Locals ride their horses here and the dunes are
popular with dogs and children alike.
Attractions in the area include the Cape Point Vineyards and the local Noordhoek Farm Village is a great place to pick up organic produce, drop in for breakfast or tea and provides a play area for
Noordhoek is very equestrian friendly. Meadowsteads area is the popular horsey area as is Crofters Valley on the opposite side across from the wetlands.
Neighbouring Kommetjie has retained its rural appeal. It is nestled between the Slangkop Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean and offers a beautiful and unspoilt setting. Kommetjie's Long Beach is over
5km with white sand with waves popular with surfers.
The area is characterised by the Slangkoppunt Lighthouse which was built in 1919. A walkway leads from the lighthouse to the 'kom' or basin, after which Kommetjie is named. This natural basin forms
a little harbour perfect for small boats, and is one of the best sites on land from which to view seabirds - Kommetjie features no less than three times in the Cape Bird Route.
Another attraction in the area, is Imhoff Farm with its converted farm buildings which hosts a bakery, tea garden, craft shops, art studios and cheese dairy. It is a popular day out and there are also horse rides for children.
Kommetjies offers a primary school and other basically facilities, but is close to the attractions of Noordhoek and Fish Hoek.
Fish Hoek is another very popular coastal neighbourhood that offers a variety of property to choose from along with good schools and a bustling commercial centre. There is also a popular waterfront area with eateries and a sought after beach.
Fish Hoek is popular with families and older, retirees. It is also a great holiday destination and popular for holiday houses.
