Rita Viljoen-van Heerden

Rita has been an active citizen in her community, having been blessed to call the beautiful Boland region, particularly Tulbagh and Wolseley, her home since early 1997. This born Namibian joined the Seeff family as a receptionist and administrator at the Tulbagh branch in 2018 which also landed her a Merit award in 2019, it was not much of a surprise when her extensive experience in the financial and services sector, as well as her passion for people, moved her to join the rental team in February 2020.

In addition to managing our landlord's investments, she is also very involved in community outreach programmes, like the CHAIN animal shelter, and the soup kitchens in both Tulbagh and Wolseley. This keeps her in touch with both sides of our very diverse economic situation, but helps her to determine the needs of the prospective tenants, while providing the best solution for both the tenant and the owner of the property she manages.

Her life motto, and words she lives by is “I have been poor, and I have had money – I have been a tenant and I have been a property owner” This is why she can relate to the different challenges that comes with the job. She is a firm believer that people who you can trust are the people you do business with.

Rita can be found at the Tulbagh office where she strives to provide world-class service to both the owners and tenants of all her properties while staying true to the ethics embedded in the values of the Seeff brand.
