Beachy Head is said to be the most valuable real estate in Africa! It certainly has a reputation for being the most sought after road in Plettenberg Bay, with its 360 degree vista of the whole bay and surrounding Outeniqua Mountains. The view across to the geologically renowned Robberg Peninsula is spectacular; its trails and wildlife attract many hikers and nature lovers.
Beachy Head is a road made attractive by the green trees and fynbos which line it. Here may be found some of the gracious older homes of Plett interspersed with contemporary seaside villas. Some have their own private walkway to the beach.
It is a five minute stroll to the pristine Robberg Beach where one can enjoy long walks along this unspoilt stretch of coastline. This is an ideal beach from which to spot whales and dolphins, indeed some properties are so close to the ocean that you may hear the whales calling.
A small shopping centre is a few minutes’ walk away, while Plettenberg Bay CBD is less than five minutes by car.
