Piesang Valley is nestled in the heart of Plettenberg Bay but still retains a sense of the tranquillity of nature. Here where the Piesang River wends its way down through the wooded hillside are horse farms and older properties set prettily amongst trees and green pastures, which sit comfortably adjacent to desirable ‘green’ developments. Plettenberg Bay Country Club and Golf Course are also situated in Piesang Valley.
Although Plettenberg Bay generally enjoys a mild, sunny climate, Piesang Valley is particularly sheltered, for as the name suggests bananas grow here in profusion.
Access to shops, gym, Beacon Isle, Central and Robberg Beaches are all within walking distance for the majority of residents, while those living at the top end of the valley are rewarded with sea and river views.
Plettenberg Bay’s lively town centre is only a three minute drive up the hill.
