About Dainfern Golf Estate

Dainfern Golf Estate is a luxurious residential estate located in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg, South Africa. The estate offers its residents a secure and sophisticated lifestyle that is difficult to match.

Dainfern Golf Estate was acquired by Johnnic Properties in 1985, which included the old Fourways Golf Course. After much research, consulting, planning, and negotiation, the premier lifestyle estate, Dainfern Golf Estate, was born. In 1986, JCI purchased the company Dainfern Investments (Pty) Ltd and applied for a township known as Dainfern to be developed on the outskirts of Fourways. This pioneering act would see Dainfern develop into Gauteng's first Residential Golf Estate and the first Gary Player-designed golf course on a residential estate in South Africa opened in 1989. 

The Golf Course

The golf course is 6,637 meters long, covering 65 hectares of rolling Highveld grassland with groves of shrubs and trees sprinkled across the landscape. The dams and streams lend a serene and soothing quality to the scene. The 18-hole Gary Player-designed championship golf course ebbs and flows along with the Jukskei River.

The Villages
