Kleinmond is a scenic coastal village, and the main town of the scenic Overstrand area of the Western Cape, just 90-minutes from Cape Town and the airport. It is close to Kleinmond and Hermanus for necessities and facilities. Seeff Kleinmond also covers Palmiet.
Kleinmond lies on a lagoon at the small mouth - hence the name - of the Botriver on a narrow strip of land hugged on the one side by the Palmiet Mountain range and on the other by the Atlantic Ocean.

The area forms part of the Cape Whale Coast and you can catch a glimpse of the majestic creatures here between June and November annually. The area is also renowned for spotting dolphins.
