Caféen
Caféen is a bit of a Harfield Village institution. The quirky corner café is a great place to have breakfast or lunch while looking at the magnificent mountain range, from devil's Peak right across to Elephant's Eye Cave. The interior is decorated with vintage curios, signs and sweets, and the furniture is slightly mismatched, adding to its charm.
They serve a delicious range of cooked breakfasts, confectionaries and lunches. The food is tasty and the waitrons are friendly. But, one of the standout features of Caféen has got to be its milkshakes. Not only do they offer the standard flavours, but they also have a gourmet range that includes Bar One, peanut butter, Turkish delight, lemon meringue and salted caramel.
The milkshakes are made from real ingredients - the banana milkshake is a delicious blend of real banana and ice cream. Their coffee selection is also good, so it’s definitely a bucket-list spot for anyone who hasn’t been. Oh, and did we mention that they have three resident cats?

Chinos Coffee House
Set in an old house in the quiet suburbs of Kenilworth, Chinos is a great place for a friendly gathering. With plenty of seating and a large, covered outdoor area, the coffee shop is a great spot for a kid’s birthday party or a kitchen tea.
Chinos serves delicious coffees and fresh pressed juices as well as all-day breakfast and tasty lunches. They bake their own cakes, lemon meringues and cheesecakes too. They even offer homemade frozen meals for customers who want to take something home.
There is a quirky gift store attached to the café where you can buy small trinkets for your friends and family. The store also sells homemade ice cream, frozen yoghurts and a variety of interesting snacks as well.
