Keep your home healthy this cold and flu season

Winter is coming and that means cold and flu season is upon us. Follow these tips to help prevent you and your family from getting sick.


Keep your air fresh and clean

It’s important to keep a couple of windows open to ensure that the air in your house isn’t stagnant and stuffy.

Dust

Get rid of the dust in your home to avoid allergies and head colds. Dust, vacuum and mop more often.

Disinfect your home

Regularly wipe down all contact surfaces in your home with disinfectant and antibacterial wipes.

Towels and bed linen

Wash your towels and bed linen more frequently to get rid of germs.

Remove your shoes

Stop tracking germs into your house by taking your shoes off when you come in. It’s also important to remove your clothes, put them into the laundry hamper immediately and take a shower when you get home.

Stock up your medicine cabinet
