Wynberg is a southern suburb of Cape Town situated between Plumstead and Kenilworth, and is a main transport and commercial hub.
Wynberg is home to some of the city’s most prestigious schools including Wynberg Boys' High School, Wynberg Girls' High School and Springfield Convent School.

Wynberg is bordered by Kenilworth to the north and Plumstead to the south east, Constantia is situated to its west.
Things to see and do in Wynberg
Wynberg is home to the absolutely gorgeous Wynberg Park. It is famous for its exquisite conifer garden and every summer, an array of colourful hydrangeas blossom to add even further to the natural beauty of the park.
The park has a number of paths to take leisurely walks along as well as lawns for picnicking and braaiing. There is a playground and duck pond, making it an ideal location to spend quality time with family and friends. Occasionally live concerts are also hosted there.
If you’re looking to shop or grab a bite to eat there is no better place in Wynberg than Farriers Centre. There are décor and gift shops, beauty salons and a deli/restaurant.
Wynberg is probably most famously known for the Maynardville Open-air Theatre which is home to the extremely popular annual Shakespeare-in-the-Park productions.
Other fantastic things to do in Wynberg include the the Maynardville Community Chest Carnival that takes place annually and The Chart Farm, a giant rose garden where you can go to pick dozens of roses for a fraction of the normal cost.
