For over ten years, Seeff’s bank assisted Seeff Express Sales Programme has helped homeowners minimise their financial burden.
The Bank Assisted Sales Programme provides assistance to clients who find themselves in financial difficulty and struggling to keep up with instalments on their home loan.
Seeff’s agents have completed a bank approved training course and are fully competent to assist clients in this process.
Seeff works with the following banks, each offering a different form of relief for clients, being:
Standard Bank “Easysell” Programme
Up to 10% discount on the outstanding balance (applicable if there is a shortfall). The arrear rates and taxes can be debited to the account to assist with cash flow. The shortfall can be repaid interest free between 5-10 years.
ABSA “HelpUSell” Programme
Qualify for a 50% discount on what you owe if your account is only three months in arrears, 30% if your account is more than three months but less than 6 months in arrears, and 10% if your account has been in arrears for six months or longer.
Nedbank “NAS” Assisted Programme
A 50% shortfall forgiveness after the sale of the property. An acknowledgement of debt (AOD) on the shortfall after the 50% forgiveness, payable within five to ten years, interest free. Also, no adverse credit bureau listing and no legal action.
FNB “Quicksell” programme
Up to 50% discount on the remaining shortfall after the sale of the property. The shortfall is repayable over a period of up to 10 years interest free.
