What an amazing experience it was for Seeff's top agents to enjoy an evening of five-star wining and dining with a spectacular Atlantic Seaboard sunset and top celebrity chef, Neill Anthony, preparing and serving up a Michelin Star-standard meal.
The event was hosted by Seeff Chairman, Samuel Seeff and his wife Simone at their beautiful home on Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard. Samuel was joined by Seeff's management team, his brother, Lawrence Seeff and his wife and Seeff CEO, Stuart Manning with his wife, Tracy Manning who is Seeff's General Manager.
The group of agents are the winners of a "Come Dine with Us" competition. The competition was based on agents who sold the most sole mandates in each region between November 2018 and February 2019 (in both units and rand-value) as well as the national winner in units and rand-value for rentals.
The winners came from across the country - from as far field as Johannesburg Central, Kibler Park and Sandton in Gauteng to Hillcrest/Kloof and Queensburgh in KwaZulu-Natal, Struisbaai on the Cape Southern Coast and Cape Town's top achievers from Pinelands, the Southern Suburbs and Atlantic Seaboard.
Renowned celebrity private chef, Neill Anthony was the drawcard and he prepared the meal which went down exceptionally well. He trained in the kitchens of Gordon Ramsay, Marcus Wareing and other big international cooking greats and has cooked for international celebrities such as Madonna, Victoria Beckham, Elton John and U2.
Now based in Cape Town, he gets invited to cook in the homes of local celebrities such as Arno Carstens, Vanessa Haywood and Carol Bouwer, socialites and friends and family, transforming their dinner experiences into exclusive dining extravaganzas of a Michelin Star standard.
Chef Neill Anthony is also famous for his own 13-Part TV Series "Private Chef", which is broadcast locally on South African television as well to 160 countries around the globe across various networks and has been the launch pad for his international exposure.
Seeff's top achievers enjoyed a spectacular evening. The agents viewed the event as an opportunity to interact with Seeff's executive and connect with other top achievers in the group. More than that though, following the event, the agent feedback was simply raving with some noting that for top talent to be hosted by such a celebrated top chef was a rare opportunity to enjoy a wonderfully memorable evening with exceptionally good food.
Here's what a few of Seeff's top achievers had to say:
"As for talented chef, Neil Anthony, the food was outstanding and fortunately I was able to retain the deliciousness and shed the calories on my Mother's Day hike with my daughter up Lions Head! My personal Seeff journey has indeed been an adventurous one and I am grateful and proud to have this history and association." Rene Ozen, Seeff Sandton.
"Thank you so much for hosting me and the warm hospitality. It was a splendid evening. The food was delicious, the company was great. It was such an experience! It was nice meeting you and your lovely wife. I would love to come back again and again. I am still reminiscing on the memories." Barbara Jokomo, Seeff Johannesburg Central.
"Thank you for the recognition and opening your beautiful home to celebrate top talent in the company. It was a wonderful experience rubbing shoulders with senior management and fellow achievers. The occasion was special, and I can say it spurs me to greater heights. Thank You" Eve Gangiah, Seeff Queensburgh, KZN.
"Thank you so much for a wonderfully memorable evening on Thursday - it was really such a treat to enjoy exceptionally good food in your beautiful home and also to connect with colleagues from other Regions". Sonya Garisch, top rentals agent from Cape Town Southern Suburbs.
"The whole experience was very humbling, and I felt honoured being part of it and representing our beautiful small town of Struisbaai amongst great and vast areas. Being a food lover, the dining experience was out of this world and is something I will cherish for a very long time." Richard Pratt, Seeff Struisbaai.
