Marinda was born in Johannesburg and grew up in Durban for the most part. She qualified as a teacher after finishing school and enjoyed teaching before joining the private sector for a few years. The property market came calling and Marinda managed sales, rentals and general administration at her own office in the Winelands. She gained valuable experience and on-the-job training from 2002 to 2006.

She joined Seeff in 2011 as group rental manager and takes her job very seriously. She understands the company's administration policies and ensures that all systems and processes are followed and are filtered down to every member of her team. She assists her agents with client requests and demands like negotiation and problem-solving, and will always walking away with a solution in the end. Her agents respect her and trust her opinion and advice, which is why her rental book has grown from 100 properties to approximately 1 000 properties in 2022. She manages the rentals for the Seeff Boland Winelands, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, Tulbagh Worcester, Ceres, Brackenfell, Kraaifontein and Kuils River and West Coast offices with patience and very high standards. Marinda is well-known in the group for her work ethic and handles all situations with class and dedication. Her practical and impartial advice make her a wonderful team player and integral part of the Seeff team.

Marinda loves people and she recharges best with her family and friends around her. She enjoys good food and wine and can be found exploring new cafes in Franschhoek on a Saturday morning.
